ACTIVITY ANSWERS:
- WHAT DO THE SIGNS MEAN? - - When you connect the dots you make a railroad crossing signal and gate. When the lights are flashing and the gate is down it means you must stop and wait for the train to go by. This is what it looks like:
- WHO AM I? - - I am a crossbuck! A crossbuck sign tells you to slow down, look and listen for a train. If a train is coming you must stop and let the train go by before crossing the tracks. This is what the crossbuck looks like:
- DANGEROUS ACTIVITIES:
1. - - Boy climbing on train bridge (he can get hit by the train)
2. - - Boy riding on boxcar (he could fall off and get hurt or killed)
3. - - Boy playing in boxcar (he could get trapped inside)
4. - - Boy crawling under train (he could get run over by the train)
SAFE ACTIVITIES:

2. - - Girl standing with bicycle waiting for train to go by at a safe distance
